House prices are more affordable than the West Side making the area very popular with young professionals who seek lifestyle and central location on a budget. This area has been the focus of much attention and lots of competition over the past year; rising values have contributed to the gentrification process. Bungalows and older character homes make up the greatest portion of housing on the east side.
